Saugatuck has been an artists’ colony since the early 1900s, and creativity is still woven through the town today. More than 30 galleries line its walkable streets, showcasing everything from fine art and sculpture to glass, ceramics and contemporary work.
At the heart of it all is the historic Ox-Bow School of Art, affiliated with the Art Institute of Chicago, which has drawn artists to these dunes for over a century.
