We have 179 properties across Southwest Florida — which means guests sometimes need a little help narrowing things down. The most common question we get: should we book a gulf-front condo or a resort villa? Both are excellent choices. The right one depends on what kind of trip you’re planning.
Choose a Gulf-Front Condo If…
The beach is your priority. Gulf-front condos put you steps from the water. You wake up to Gulf views, walk to the beach in minutes, and fall asleep to the sound of waves. For guests whose trip revolves around sun, sand, and swimming, there’s nothing that compares.
You want walkability. Many of our Naples condos are within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the pier. If you’d rather leave the car parked and explore on foot, a downtown Naples condo gives you that freedom.
You’re traveling as a couple or small group. Condos tend to work especially well for two to four guests who want a clean, comfortable home base close to the action.
Choose a Resort Villa If…
Space matters. Resort villas — particularly our Lely properties — offer significantly more room: multiple bedrooms, private pools or lanais, open living areas, and the kind of space that makes a week feel comfortable rather than cramped.
You’re traveling with family or a larger group. Multiple bedrooms, full kitchens, and private outdoor space make villas the natural choice for families or friend groups of five or more.
Golf, pools, and resort amenities are on the agenda. If your trip includes tee times, spa days, and lazy pool afternoons, a Lely Resort villa gives you immediate access to world-class facilities.
The Honest Answer
Both property types deliver an exceptional Southwest Florida experience. The difference is really in what your days will look like. Beach-first guests tend to love our Naples condos. Experience-seekers and families tend to gravitate to our Lely villas.
